In the summer of 2020, after a decade in the architectural flush door industry (think hotel, apartment, or school doors), I found myself burnt out and looking for more. In my infinite wisdom, I quit. Without a plan, I found myself consulting while planning a wedding. A few months later, wedding planning unexpectedly turned into building a nursery. My beautiful (and very pregnant) wife Emily supported me through this entire process, but she knew I needed help in finding my path. Sitting me down she was intent on finding what I enjoyed - I loved working with my hands, the smell of hardwoods, and the whine of the dust collection breaking the silence of brisk Michigan mornings.
Gallagher Wood Products was born in 2022, starting with floating shelves and quickly expanding to gates and wine racks. With extensive experience in a high volume custom manufacturing environment, we are uniquely positioned to provide custom wood products at an accessible price point. All of our products are handmade in our Michigan facility. We look forward to bringing the beauty and character of wood into your home.
